Prime Minister Narendra Modi will show the green flag to India's fastest train 'T18' on December 29. It is likely that T18 can run from his Parliament Area Varanasi. Sources also said that the country's first engine-less high speed train will take place of Shatabdi trains and it will run between Delhi and Varanasi and complete it's journey in 8 hours. Indian Railways and ICF are also planning the development of Train 20, another semi-high speed train that will replace the Rajdhani Express. The line is supposed to be unveiled in 2020.
In T18 there will be two special coaches in which there will be 52-52 seats and the remaining coaches will have 78-78 seats. Rail Minister Piyush Goyal, recently influenced by the success of Train 18, has asked recently to create such four more trains in the current financial year from ICF.
