After clicking on the link, an app was installed in the phone and after that 60,000 rupees disappeared from their account. The victim is 52 years old and he is a businessman. In fact, this whole case was already planned and fixed, because police reports believe that the thugs sent a message on the victim's phone, which provided the link for the app download. After that he called himself an officer of the Income Tax Department and asked to click on the link.

An app is installed in the victim's phone as soon as the link is clicked. After this, 60,000 rupees were withdrawn from his account twice. Although this case has now been exposed but this fraud happened in September 2018 and in this regard, an FIR has been registered in Sector-10 police station under section 420 (cheating) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The victim told the police that an OTP was received at 2.30 in the night on his mobile and that OTP himself went to another number. But before this incident, a message came to fill their income tax returns on their phone.
Tracking the number of messages received on the phone revealed that the number belongs to Pune. However no arrest has been made in this case so far. So now you need to be very cautious and do not click on messages from any unknown number, it will be better.
