One of the best smartphone maker company and offer's the best features in low price after Xiaomi did the same in the year 2018 and became the king of the Indian smartphone market. According to a recent report, Xiaomi Smartphone is top in the Indian market in 2018. Korean smartphone brand Samsung has left behind Chinese company Xiaomi by a margin of margins. Samsung has the second largest market share in the Indian smartphone market.

In a report by the consulting firm Canalys, information related to the fluctuations in the Indian smartphone market in 2018 has been shared. According to this report, in the year 2018, Xiaomi was at the top of sales and it sold out 4.1 million smartphones. In this way, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has a market share of 29.9 percent. At the same time, Samsung's market share stood at 25.8 percent margin and it sold 3.54 million smartphones in 2018.

Talking about top five, Vivo was on third position with the shipment of 1.44 million smartphones. It captured 10.5 percent market share. Oppo and Micromax also made their way into the Top 5. This means that Apple and Huawei, which are considered to be big brands in India, are also in the rest of the other category. It is important to know that the total sale of the second category is 3.06 million devices, which is too less than the sold phones of Xiaomi and Samsung.

On the other hand, the Canalys report also highlighted that in 2018 smartphone shipment grew more than 10 percent compared to 2017. This makes India one of the six fastest smartphone growing market. More than 12 lakh smartphones have been sold in 2018 as compared to 2017.
