Automatic Coach Washing Plant will be installed at 4 Railway Station of Moradabad Division

Now trains will be cleaned as soon as they go to the washing pit line. Automatic Coach Washing Plant (ACWP) will be installed at 100 stations across the country. This plant will be installed at four station of Moradabad Railway Division, Northern Railway Zone. Most trains arrive at the destination station 5 to 10 hours late. These trains are simply sent by supplying water to coach without washing. Because of this, passengers have to travel in dirty coaches.
After getting complaints of passengers, the Railway Board is going to set up Automatic Coach Washing Plant (ACWP) for cleaning coaches. The machine will start cleaning the exterior of the coach as soon as the train arrives at washing pitline yard. That means cleaning will be done in the moving train. The entire train will clean in one hour instead of six.
Additional Divisional Railway Manager MS Meena said that ACWP system is to be installed soon at four stations of Moradabad Division. This will clean the coach in a short time. ACWP System will be installed at Haridwar, Dehradun and Bareilly. ACWP is to be installed at three stations in Moradabad Railway Division. This system will be installed in Bareilly, Haridwar and Dehradun. This system will start functioning after Dehradun yard expansion. It would cost three crore rupees to build this system at one station.
