South Eastern Zone, Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager Vijay Kumar Sahu visited Manoharpur on Saturday.  During this, He visited Manoharpur Station, where asked the Station Master about the law and order gave necessary instructions and said to pay attention during Train Operations work. Also asked about the condition of construction and repair work being done in the station area, as well as instructions to improve the passenger facilities further.
Station Master Shailendra Kumar, RPF incharge Ajay Kumar Singh were present on the Station. Talking to reporters, DRM said that there are plans to increase the speed of trains to 130 kmph on Howrah-Mumbai route. Currently, trains run at a speed of 90 to 110kmph on this route. For this, a speed trial will be conducted on 12 January. He informed that during this time all the railway crossings falling in the route will be closed and the underbridge will be constructed. Apart from this, he said that new high-tech cabin in Bondamunda will be started soon. So that the speed of trains can be increased.
